hello. these are some pictures that i made at charlotte and ryan’s london wedding at thames chase barn. you can use your eyes to look at them or you can just close your eyes and imagine the best wedding party ever for the next minute or so. whatever you prefer.
once the ceremony stuff was over, we then headed to thames chase barn and we went STRAIGHT into the party. there was casual grub available but everyone came to party and it was so fun to be part of a wedding that just skips to the most fun part of the day/night…at like…3pm. i love relaxed weddings and documenting candid portraits of guests just being themselves and having fun. these guys gave me the creative freedom to do just that. huge thanks to charlotte and ryan for that and for making me feel like a mate with a camera, rather than the “official photographer”
“Our photographer, legend and all round great guy, was Chris Barber. We got talking through Instagram and Ryan and I both fell in love with his style, how fun and not awkward his couples looked. This was something we both felt strongly about, we didn’t want typical “stand and smile” type wedding photos of yesteryear to remember the day by, we really wanted to see the fun and happiness of our guests and ourselves and Chris captured that so perfectly.”
