Wedding Traditions Explained

Wedding traditions. So, like… Why? Why do we do wedding traditions? Can we create our own alternatives to cutting the cake or are we doomed to first dance forever? All these burning questions + more will be answered from the front line + key-worker of the wedding world.  Personally, I feel a bit bummed when couples are simultaneously slammed, jammed, AND rammed into a specific wedding format that only serves to suit the convenience of

Rio Elopement Photographer

Rio De Janeiro Wedding Mariana + Leo’s Elopement in Rio was the type of photography-brief that dreams are made of. Traveling the world with my camera is one of my favourite things to do when I’m not legally obligated to stay at home. I’m not a total stranger to Rio or Brazil. I’d been to Brazil twice when I first got Mariana’s email. It slowly dawned on me that I’d get to visit Brazil TWICE

Neon Museum Wedding in Las Vegas

I’ve always dreamt of photographing a wedding at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, like you don’t understand…this has been my dream since I first started. So when Nicole + Jamey mentioned they were getting married at The Neon Boneyard, I remember thinking “we absolutely have to go there + shoot this”. I was pretty excited. Nelson Ghost Town is in the Eldorado mountains, five

Rayavadee Wedding on Railay Beach, Krabi, Thailand

I’ve been so excited to share Emma + Rico’s stunning Rayavadee wedding in Krabi, Thailand. Partly because I get to open this story with monkeys but also because I absolutely loved being part of this experience. I could’ve never dreamt in a million years that my ‘work’ would take me to Thailand. I’ve always wanted to see the textured limestone cliffs, picturesque forests + idyllic beaches so when Emma + Rico asked Alline + I

Emma + Rico – Thailand Couples Photoshoot

I photographed Emma + Rico’s Krabi pre-wedding shoot at their accommodation at Railay Beach Club before we hit Railay beach to splash around at sunset. I first met Emma + Rico in Birmingham, which is basically the same as Krabi except Krabi has marginally better beaches + Birmingham has slightly fewer monkeys. As a couple, they are two of the most kind-hearted + warm people you could wish to meet. They both have this aura
