claire + tom chose woodland weddings (tring) as their unique outdoor wedding venue. it’s pretty rare that i get to photograph an outdoor wedding ceremony but super fun when i do. outdoor ceremonies obviously get all the awesome natural light, which usually totally dies the minute you go inside a church or town hall. the whole day was in one part of the wood, so nobody had to worry about moving from venue to venue.
Charlotte and Dan’s Curradine Barns wedding setting was a modern barn in Shrawley, West Midlands. It was such a fun day and even the weather played ball! Charlotte got ready at Curradine Barns with her bridal squad, and the atmosphere was so calm. The ceremony was an intimate affair in the barn. The awesome beams of the barn framed the ceremony perfectly + Dan even managed to hold it together without crying. The reception was in the
couldn’t bring myself to call this a “best of” so here’s a few of my personal favourites from this year. no hero shots. no gimmicks. no layers. no prisms. no fancy lighting. just straight up raw energy, things i found funny + happy faces.
When I heard about this Gherkin Wedding, I wasn’t crazy excited because I normally pick gherkins out. Then I stopped lolling at my own Dad jokes + realised it was actually a same sex wedding with bhangra music + indian food in one of the most iconic points in London. I told Amber + Joni to just sign me up + fully commit my entire soul to this thing already… I was so honoured to
Jon + Oli got married at the stunning Syon Park, London. There was a concrete cake, plants growing out of every corner and neon lights. Oh and co-ordinating Alexander McQueen suits. They basically planned my own fictitious wedding. To top it off, it was the first wedding I ever got to shoot with my partner, Alline, who’s inspired me so much this last year. She’s an awesome person + photographer so you should definitely check
Wethele Manor is one of my favourite marquee wedding venues in the UK.
