claire + tom chose woodland weddings (tring) as their unique outdoor wedding venue. it’s pretty rare that i get to photograph an outdoor wedding ceremony but super fun when i do. outdoor ceremonies obviously get all the awesome natural light, which usually totally dies the minute you go inside a church or town hall. the whole day was in one part of the wood, so nobody had to worry about moving from venue to venue. a few guests even camped over night!
planning an outdoor wedding in the UK can be kinda risky…presuming you’re not a big fan of rain. so claire + tom did have *some* shelter in the form of an amazing tipi with cascading fairy lights + a freakin’ huge light up “OMG” sign. oh…and there was a swing! need i say anymore?
