London Couple Photoshoots

london couple photoshoots

I love London couple photoshoots but they can happen anywhere you like such as at the beach, in your home, your home town, a local museum, or we can just do something wild. Couples photoshoots are a thing that happens when I take pictures of two people at the same time, like some kinda multi-tasking photo wizard.

I want your photos to reflect your personalities so it’s a good idea to choose a location that has meaning or relevance to you as a couple. It could be somewhere you went on a first date, a place you like to visit together or the location you live (bonus points if you live in Vegas or Bali). These sessions are available to anyone, whether I’m shooting your wedding or if you’re just an awesome pair of humans that want some fun photos that aren’t drunken selfies *shamefully holds up both hands*

If I’m photographing your wedding, engagement shoots are a great way for me to get to know you both before I rock up on the big day. They help to take out some of that photo awkwardness that everyone gets before having their photo taken. It’s also a great way to see how I shoot + understand how I can photograph you guys looking awesome without all that weird, rigid posing stuff.

The sessions are priced at £350 and last around one hour. You’ll then receive a bunch of snazzy new photos to print or share online around two weeks after your shoot.

Let’s start planning your shoot now + you’ll receive a free online gallery with your booking!

“The photos speak for themselves but Chris is a genius behind the lens. Neither of us particularly like having our photos taken but he somehow manages to hide himself and for you to forget it’s even happening! He meets you for an engagement shoot first which helps to become familiar with the camera and him so it feels like he’s a guest rather that a scary photographer. We didn’t want group shots or the traditional photo of the entire wedding taken from a window above and that’s exactly what he delivered. He captured the day and personalities perfectly.”

“We have quite a few friends whom are photographers, family members were shocked when we chose not to use them. We of course adore their work, but cherish their friendship even more and wanted them to be a guest, have the day off and enjoy our wedding. I did however ask for recommendations, among a few names Chris Barber popped up. We are a bit socially awkward, stick us in front of a camera and well that just gets a bit worse. Chris manages to capture moments and personalities like no other I’ve seen. He made us feel so relaxed on the day, we’ve got some really beautiful photos to show for it – something I didn’t think we’d ever achieve considering how incredibly awkward we both normally are. I will also add that I’m pretty sure Chris has had some sort of ninja training, looking back at all the photos some of them we have no idea how he took them without us noticing!”

“We found the truly amazing Chris Barber when a wedding he photographed popped up on RMW. We just loved the candid documentary style of his photography, but he also did a great job of the portrait style shots as requested by the parents. Even though he is extremely busy he was always very responsive to emails, and believe me I sent a lot of questions! The finished photos speak for themselves! It was a pleasure to have him at our wedding; he kept us all calm and managed to capture the wonderful moments of the day perfectly!”

“Lisa hates all things wedding photography. So I did the research and found Chris’s website – it made Lisa laugh. Banter ensued by email whereby we told him we hate posing in a line, and have a heavy dislike of pictures of wedding dresses in windows. He accepted the challenge. He destroyed the challenge. His photos win at life”
