Neon Museum Wedding in Las Vegas

neon museum wedding

I’ve always dreamt of photographing a wedding at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, like you don’t understand…this has been my dream since I first started.

So when Nicole + Jamey mentioned they were getting married at The Neon Boneyard, I remember thinking “we absolutely have to go there + shoot this”. Nicole + Jamey were so kind as to invite Alline along for the ride so we set off on an adventure to see Vegas.I first went to Vegas somewhere around 2011 for WPPI. I signed up to every workshop + immediately began to understand what I wanted to ‘give’ to wedding photography + why. 7 years later, with 100’s more weddings under my dealt + a much better idea of my own creative vision – I was SO excited to go back.

Chris is amazing. He gets our most enthusiastic recommendation! My now wife and I were at a loss in choosing a photographer for our wedding. We’d shopped around but we weren’t excited about our options until my wife stumbled across a wedding Chris had shot on someone’s wedding blog. We were lucky enough to find he was free the weekend of our big day and even luckier to find his partner Alline would also be joining him. We hit it off with Chris immediately and even before we’d met him in person he had reinvigorated our wedding planning. The day before our wedding we met Alline and Chris for an engagement shoot. It was a blast. In fact, it was never boring being photographed by them. They would use clever games and tricks to get us off our guard and to act candidly. Fast forward to the wedding day: a few fun photos of them getting ready process were followed by a first look photoshoot before the wedding and reception. Throughout that extremely long day neither Chris’s nor Alline’s energy flagged the slightest bit. They remained enthusiastic about every shot. Our wedding party and guests loved them. We’ve seen just a sampling of the finished photos and we are blown away. The pics are beautiful and we are excited to see the rest!
