Village Underground Wedding.
This is Molly + Toby’s Village Underground wedding in East London from last Winter. Village Underground is one of my favourite venues in London, especially for weddings with an industrial theme. M+T decorated the interior of the venue with awesome festoon lighting. This looked amazing when a vintage circus performer dropped from the ceiling!? You know…like normal.
Despite all the intricate attention to detail, the day was actually super relaxed. We even had time to go up on the roof for some portraits, which is my absolute favourite place to shoot portraits in London. There’s actual tube trains…on the roof?! The view looks out over the whole of Shoreditch. Dreeeeeeam.

Neither of us particularly like having our photos taken but he somehow manages to hide himself and for you to forget it’s even happening! He met us for an engagement shoot first which helps to become familiar with the camera and him. It feels like he’s a guest rather than a scary photographer. We didn’t want group shots or the traditional photo of the entire wedding taken from a window above and that’s exactly what he delivered.
