Back in the summer I was invited to be part of Laura + Harry’s Castellabate wedding. This whole wedding was *stunning*. I’ve loved photographing destination weddings recently. There’s something so exciting about getting to a new place + heading to a location that’s totally different from where I usually shoot. I love working with new types of light, completely different architecture + meeting people from different cultures. I always arrive at least a day in advance (because air travel) which means I usually get to meet + hang out with my couples friends + families before the wedding. Meeting everyone in advance makes it feel like I’m a genuine part of the day, rather than just the “official photographer” which builds trust + means that guests feel more at ease in front of the camera. I genuinely consider this group of people as good friends + it’s sort of awesome that this ‘job’ allows me to see exciting new places, meet awesome people + create photos that make people happy.
This was the third wedding I’ve photographed for this group of friends. It started back in 2016 when I shot Liam + Maria’s laid-back pub wedding, followed by Ria + Jordan’s London Town Hall Hotel wedding in London before this total feast for the eyes.
