When I heard about this Gherkin Wedding, I wasn’t crazy excited because I normally pick gherkins out. Then I stopped lolling at my own Dad jokes + realised it was actually a same sex wedding with bhangra music + indian food in one of the most iconic points in London. I told Amber + Joni to just sign me up + fully commit my entire soul to this thing already…
I was so honoured to be a part of this. Amber + Joni met up with me for an engagement session a few weeks before the wedding + they were the some of the most heart-felt, kind and interesting people I’ve ever met. I love meeting couples before the wedding, breaking down ‘walls’ + getting to know the real people behind the wedding. Weddings like this can be quite hectic because there’s so much awesomeness going on so it’s better to meet beforehand.
The Gherkin blew my mind. It’s obviously quite glass-y so I had all sorts of exciting light to play with + Amber + Joni gave me complete creative freedom to do whatever I fancied doing.
